Term: -month contract with possible extensions

Shift: 1st shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM or 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing hands-on production tasks in a manufacturing environment, following established procedures, quality standards, and safety practices. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistent adherence to policies and instructions, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision using microscopes, hand tools, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

· Comfortable using microscopes for extended periods.

· Ability to read blueprints, follow procedures, and interpret technical documents.

· Basic math proficiency: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.

· Skilled in using hand tools to handle and manipulate small components.

· Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high accuracy.

Required Qualifications

· High School diploma or GED equivalent

· Ability to sit, stand, or walk for up to 10 hours per day.

· Must be able to crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push, and pull intermittently.

· Must have strong visual acuity, including

Close and distance vision
Color vision
Depth perception
Ability to adjust focus

· Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

Schedule Requirements

· Must be flexible to work 8- or 9-hour shifts.

· Start times may vary depending on business needs.

· Early shift: As early as 5:00 AM

· Late shift: May end as late as 6:00 PM

· Example schedules: 5:00 AM–1:30 PM, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Pre-Employment Requirements

· Must pass an eye exam and color vision test.

· All candidates must disclose upcoming vacations or time-off requests during intake.
