Counter Sales / Warehouse Associate - Riverside

Big D Floor Covering Supplies is a leading wholesale supplier to the flooring installation trade. We have locations in five States across the Southwest. We are experiencing big growth and need a Counter Sales Warehouse Associate for our Riverside branch. The ideal candidate is consistent, energetic and willing to learn. We work in a fast-paced wholesale warehouse/retail environment serving flooring installation contractors. In this position, you will interact with and get to know loyal customers as well as co-workers. You may also periodically assist with overflow warehouse duties. Job Requirements: * Must be able to handle and maneuver a variety of materials--single items weighing up to 75 lbs and pallets (utilizing pallet jack) weighing up to 2,000 lbs. * Must have high school diploma or equivalent (Ex: GED) * Must be able to read, write and communicate in English * Must have legal right or authorization to work in the United States Additional qualities considered an advantage: * Experience operating forklift and/or pallet jack * Attention to detail Core Job Duties * Interacting with customers to take orders for products * Assisting customers with technical questions about products * Entering and finalizing customer orders * Preparing and placing special order requests with our Purchasing Dept * Pulling product from warehouse for customers * Stocking products in showroom * Cleaning and organizing showroom * Assist the warehouse with overflow duties.
