About the Job

We need a hands-on care provider with basic experience for my mom who's 85. She has no dementia or cognitive issues; however, she is very hard of hearing. She has hearing aids but needs someone who will speak up loudly and look at her when talking. She has some physical issues, and she cannot walk well but is able to get up with help and use a walker. Currently she has fractured vertebrae in her back and is at a care facility. She was previously in a Skilled Nursing facility for 15 months, with another fracture and severe broken arm after that. She came home for about 3 weeks early August but did not thrive and got another broken vertebra. Help is needed weekdays in a. m. with bathing (bed baths), hygiene, light cleaning of bed & bath. Help with morning meal, coffee. Caregiver needs to be a non-smoker.
