Airport Management Intern
City of RiversideRiverside Municipal Airport, a department of the City of Riverside, is accepting applications for unpaid, part-time interns for Summer 2026 from eligible undergraduate students enrolled in college programs with a concentration in Aviation Management.
The Intern will put into practice the knowledge and skills s/he has learned throughout his/her academic pursuits. Under direct supervision of a City employee, the Intern will perform a variety of aviation/airport related duties, to include both Airport Administration and Operations/Maintenance.

- Airport Capital Improvement Programs/Planning
- Airfield Management, Functions of Airport Administration and Operations
- Tenant & Customer Relations
Ability to
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Complete assignments on time and accurately
- Apply problem-solving and structured thinking skills and in performance of duties
- Work independently and within a diverse and collaborative environment
Desired Qualifications
- Current college student enrolled in a four-year program of study in aviation or a related area; Junior-level of higher.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess ACE (Airport Certified Employee) - Operations through the American Association of Airport Executives
- Possess CM (Certified Member) through the American Association of Airport Executives
- Private Pilot Certificate
