Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Director / Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join our leadership team in Riverside, CA. This on-site role blends hands-on clinical care with strategic and administrative oversight, supporting utilization management, quality initiatives, and provider collaboration to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care delivery.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans and ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and care teams
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR
Administrative & Leadership Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight aligned with organizational goals
- Participate in utilization-related activities, including review of referrals, diagnostics, and treatment plans for medical necessity
- Serve as a clinical resource to providers and staff regarding care pathways and guidelines
- Support compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives
- Identify trends related to quality of care, utilization, or operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with administrative leadership to enhance workflows and care coordination
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active and unrestricted California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment with leadership and decision-making capabilities
Compensation & Benefits Package
- $300,000 Annual Base Salary
- $48,000 Productivity Bonus
- $40,000 Sign-On Bonus
