What You'll Do

  • The Dispatch Coordinator will be responsible for managing the shop’s flow and production.
  • Schedule shop work as efficiently as possible in accordance with our clients SLA’s
  • Allocate parts to the proper work order.
  • Track, receive, and distribute all parts in a timely manner to meet our client SLA’s
  • Enter all pertinent information into software applications, AS400, and RPP.
  • Communicate any incorrect parts or supplies to supervisor/manager in a timely manner and manage returns.
  • Maintain all shop supplies and keep inventory at acceptable levels (ordered Through Procurement) as directed by management
  • Secure and control all parts and supply inventory to minimize loss or shrinkage.
  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
  • Advanced computer skills required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of automotive parts experience preferred.
  • Automotive Service Dispatcher or Automotive Technician II experience preferred.
  • Must be able to use general office equipment.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 1-50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks, manual dexterity.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.
