Position Summary

As a Server at Alvarado’s Mexican Grill, you will provide exceptional dining service by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires strong customer service skills, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:
Greet guests warmly and present menus.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and answer menu-related questions.
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
Food & Beverage Delivery:
Serve food and drinks in a timely, courteous manner.
Ensure proper presentation and quality of all items served.
Assist with upselling specials, beverages, and desserts.
Operational Support:
Set and clear tables efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
Assist with side work, including restocking supplies and cleaning stations.
Accurately process guest payments using the POS system.
Teamwork & Communication:
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service.
Participate in training, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Prior serving experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
