Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, supervisory, and communication skills, with a background in office management, human resources, and bookkeeping. This role involves coordinating various administrative tasks, managing vendor relationships, supervising staff, and supporting event planning initiatives. The Office Manager will play a key role in maintaining efficient office workflows and fostering a professional atmosphere conducive to team productivity.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily office operations, including front desk management and multi-line phone systems
Manage calendar scheduling, appointments, and meeting arrangements
Supervise administrative staff and coordinate training & development programs
Handle human resources functions such as onboarding, employee records, and payroll processing
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with organizational policies
Ensure effective communication across departments through phone etiquette and clear correspondence
Experience
Proven experience in office management or administrative leadership roles
Supervising experience with team management responsibilities
Proficiency in QuickBooks, calendar management tools, and multi-line phone systems
Experience with human resources functions such as payroll administration and employee onboarding
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor for front desk duties and client interactions
Ability to train staff effectively and foster a collaborative team environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.56 - $29.57 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
