About Favor On-Demand

Favor On-Demand is launching city-by-city across California with a mission to change how people get help — and how people earn.

Favor On-Demand is a task-based platform that connects people who need help with trusted local Helpers (Favor Associates) for a wide range of everyday, creative, and skill-based services.

This is not a traditional job. Favor On-Demand provides a platform where independent contractors can offer services, choose tasks, and work on their own terms.

Riverside is one of our upcoming launch areas as we expand across California.

What This Opportunity Is

As a Favor On-Demand Helper (Independent Contractor), you choose which tasks you want to accept based on your skills, interests, and availability.

The person requesting help sets the task price. You decide whether to accept the task at that price.

There are no fixed schedules, no guaranteed hours, and no required minimums. You stay in control of when and how you work.

Examples of Tasks Available

Tasks vary by location and demand. Helpers may choose to accept tasks such as:

Home, Cleaning & Organization

• Light cleaning and organizing
• Laundry and folding
• Packing or unpacking
• Closet or space organization
• Yard work and basic landscaping
• Junk or trash removal
• Help moving small items

Errands & Convenience

• Grocery shopping
• Retail pickups or returns
• Running local errands
• Post office runs
• Waiting in lines
• Item pickup and drop-off
• Same-day local deliveries (non-commercial)

Handyman & Physical Tasks (Non-Licensed)

• Furniture assembly
• Mounting TVs, shelves, or décor
• Painting touch-ups
• Minor home assistance
• Heavy lifting or moving support

Tech & Digital Help

• Phone, tablet, or computer setup
• Wi-Fi or smart device setup
• App or software installation
• Basic website setup or updates
• General tech assistance

Creative, Media & Design

• Photography or videography
• Social media content help
• Photo or video editing
• Graphic design support
• Creative projects

Events & Experiences

• Event setup or breakdown
• Party assistance
• Décor or balloon setup
• DJ or MC support for small events

Business & Professional Support

Helper Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a smartphone with internet access
• Must be eligible to work as an independent contractor
• Must be able to complete a background check
• Must provide any tools, equipment, or transportation required for accepted tasks

Helper Vetting & Background Check

To help maintain a safe and trusted community

• All Helpers must complete a background check
• The background check fee is paid by the Helper at signup
• After completing five (5) tasks, the background check fee is reimbursed

Pay & Schedule

• Pay is task-based and set by the person requesting the service
• Helpers choose whether to accept tasks at the offered price
• There are no guaranteed hours
• Earnings vary based on task availability, location, and tasks accepted
• Helpers are responsible for providing their own tools and transportation
