In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of various glass types in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in handling different glass materials, a keen attention to detail, and a dedication to providing high-quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and repair glass in windows, doors, storefronts, curtain walls, and other structures, adhering to specifications and building codes.
• Accurately measure and cut glass to size using precision tools and best practices.
• Remove existing glass and prepare surfaces for new installations, ensuring proper sealing and weatherproofing.
• Work with a variety of glass types, including tempered, laminated, and insulated glass.
• Collaborate with contractors, builders, and clients to understand project requirements and provide informed recommendations.
• Safely transport glass materials to job sites, handling them with care during installation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a glass installation role.
• Strong skills in measuring, cutting, and handling various types of glass.
• In-depth knowledge of safety procedures associated with glass installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
• Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work at heights when required.
