Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and safety-conscious Class - A Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Duties
- Safely operate Class - A commercial trucks with manual transmission, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized equipment.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other necessary equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Drive route schedules confidently, managing delivery timelines and maintaining communication with dispatch for route adjustments.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit and handle special freight such as pharmaceuticals or fragile goods with care.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with federal regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for seamless loadings and unloadings at various facilities.
Skills
- Proven experience driving tractor-trailers with manual transmissions in a commercial setting.
- Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures including load securing and unloading techniques.
- Excellent route driving skills with the ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely when required for loading or unloading cargo.
- Good understanding of DOT regulations and compliance standards for commercial drivers.

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
