Cooks Summary

Our cooks maintain outstanding customer service in processing orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, clean food preparation equipment and work area, organize, load and unload inventory, and put merchandise away. Prepare food for customers, prep and maintain proper levels of food for shifts. Some tasks may include ensuring that ingredients are stored properly and maintaining an inventory of food and other items needed for the grill station. In addition to preparing grilled foods, may also fry, bake, or microwave meat and poultry as part of their duties. May also cut or carve meat, assemble measure, and mix other ingredients for dishes. Responsible for cleanliness of all equipment and wares used.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Creates a positive work environment while striving to fulfill and execute our Mission Statement
Follows and maintains food safety, HACCP process
Daily communication with upper management
Monitoring quality and cleanliness of food and store environment
Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor
Wash large restaurant pots and pans
Emptying trash bins in dumpster

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
Ability to speak and read English (second language is a plus).
Ability to communicate effectively with external customers required.
Great problem solving and priority setting skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to lift-up to 30-80 pounds
