Utility/Production Associate

Job description

The Utility/Production Associate plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The Utility/Production Associate supports daily production operations by performing general housekeeping, material handling, packing, inspection, and machine support tasks. This role is essential to maintaining efficient production flow, product quality, and a safe, organized work environment. The associate must be flexible, detail-oriented, and able to assist across multiple areas of the production floor as needed.

• Shift: 1st shift 6am- 2:30pm (Must be available to work weekends)
• Pay rate: $18-$20/hr DOE
• Temp to Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor
• Keep material bins stocked and notify Warehouse when supplies are needed
• Inspect, trim, and pack plastic bottles per work orders and quality standards
• Feed scrap materials into granulator and assist with regrind handling (HDPE only)
• Operate case-making and packaging equipment safely
• Stretch wrap, stack, label, and palletize finished product correctly
• Assist Mechanic Operators with machine clearing and cleaning
• Monitor molding operations and report quality or equipment issues
• Complete basic documentation and log scrap counts
• Follow SQF, GMP, IMS, and all safety requirements
• Support team members and cover tasks during breaks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1–3 months of manufacturing or production experience preferred (training provided)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment

Work Environment

• Manufacturing setting with moving equipment
• Moderate to loud noise levels
• Exposure to varying temperatures
