Shopify Platform Support Specialist
In-Person | Full-Time
Pay Range: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour
Reports to: Director of Digital Platform Operations
Prodrome is seeking a Shopify Platform Support Specialist to support the day-to-day technical and functional operations of our Shopify storefront. This is an in-person, hands-on role focused on keeping our e-commerce platform running smoothly for customers, affiliates, and practitioner partners.
This position plays a key role in maintaining platform stability, resolving issues efficiently, and supporting ongoing growth across our Shopify ecosystem, with the potential to expand to additional stores over time.
What You’ll Do
- Support daily operations of the Prodrome Shopify store to ensure reliable performance and uptime
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
- Customer, affiliate, and practitioner accounts
- Orders, payments, and fulfillment workflows
- Subscriptions and recurring billing
- Monitor system health, integrations, and store functionality to identify and address issues proactively
- Provide technical support for Shopify themes, apps, and third-party integrations
- Assist with front-end troubleshooting and updates using HTML, CSS, and Liquid
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement updates, fixes, and platform improvements
- Document issues, resolutions, and platform processes to support operational continuity
- Escalate complex issues as needed while maintaining ownership through resolution
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience supporting Shopify (admin, storefront, themes, apps)
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Liquid, with the ability to make front-end edits and fixes
- Experience troubleshooting technical and functional e-commerce issues
- Familiarity with subscription platforms, payment gateways, and Shopify apps
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting multiple Shopify stores or complex Shopify environments
- Basic understanding of web performance, SEO, or UX best practices
- Experience working with affiliate, practitioner, or B2B/B2C hybrid platforms
