Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience in fine dining and restaurant environments. This role requires a passionate individual committed to delivering high-quality dishes and exceptional service. The successful candidate will contribute to menu execution, maintain kitchen standards, and support the overall dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Assist in menu planning and development for various dining occasions
Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food handling and sanitation guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Handle food with care, demonstrating knife skills and proper food safety procedures
Support catering events and special functions as needed
Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management

Requirements

Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role, preferably in fine dining or restaurant settings
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus
Previous experience in catering, serving, or food service industry is advantageous
Culinary experience with a focus on quality presentation and flavor balance
Strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
