This opportunity is for a Part-Time Adaptive Physical Education Teacher to work with K-12 students in a school setting located in Moreno Valley, CA. The role is a contract position for the current school year (CSY), designed for professionals skilled in delivering specialized physical education tailored to students with diverse abilities.

Responsibilities include

• Developing and implementing adaptive physical education programs that meet individual student needs.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to create inclusive physical activity plans.
• Monitoring student progress and modifying activities as necessary to accommodate diverse physical and cognitive abilities.
• Ensuring a safe learning environment that promotes physical health, motor skills development, and social interaction.
• Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents and school personnel.

Qualifications

• Experience or certification in Adaptive Physical Education.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations concerning physical education for students with disabilities.
