This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in Temecula, CA. The position offers the chance to provide essential support across multiple sites, working with students ranging from preschool through 12th grade. The role is contract-based through the current school year, ending in April.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to implement therapy plans.
  • Assist in assessing and monitoring speech and language progress.
  • Support students individually and in small groups to improve communication skills.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning effective interventions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Speech & Language Pathology or completion of a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant program.
  • Registration as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant with the Speech Language Pathology & Audiology Board.
  • Experience working in educational settings preferred.
  • Ability to support diverse caseloads from early childhood through high school.

Schedule and Location

  • 35 hours per week.
  • Positions involve travel to multiple school sites within the district.
  • Located in Temecula, CA.
  • Contract assignment continuing until April 24th.
