Speech Pathologist Assistant in Moreno Valley, CA

This position offers the opportunity to provide valuable support as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a dynamic K-12 school environment located in Moreno Valley, CA. The role involves working with students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade across multiple school sites, supporting diverse communication needs throughout the school year on a contract basis until April 24th.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to students with speech and language challenges
• Support communication development for a caseload spanning early childhood to high school ages
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress in accordance with therapy goals
• Participate in team meetings to enhance service delivery and student outcomes

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Speech & Language Pathology or completion of a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant program
• Registration with the Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology Board as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work across multiple sites effectively

Location: Moreno Valley, CA

Work Schedule: 35 hours per week

Contract Duration: Current school year, until April 24th
