Lighter

A company is looking for a Lighter responsible for lighting and compositing shots under the direction of a CG Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborates with CG Supervisor and Lead Lighter to achieve visual targets for assigned shots

Optimizes shots for rendering and troubleshoots creative and technical issues

Manages individual shot load to meet deadlines and documents lighting tools and processes as needed

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Art, Film, Visual Effects, Animation, Computer Graphics, or related fields, or equivalent experience

Experience with lighting and rendering

Knowledge of cinematic principles

Experience with ray tracing and lighting software such as Nuke, Katana, and / or Houdini

Experience in feature animation and proven collaboration skills within a team
