Now Hiring Experienced Yard Jockey / Hostler (Non-CDL) Truck Drivers – Fontana, CA

Job Summary

We’re seeking skilled Yard Hostlers to move trailers within the yard using a yard horse. This is a local, home-daily position with competitive pay and great benefits!

Pay & Schedule

Hourly Rate: $25.50 per hour
Shift Details:
Friday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: Fri/Sat/Sun

Job Responsibilities

Move trailers within yard (expect 5–6 moves per hour)
Hook/unhook, chain, and bind trailers
Handle freight including furniture, appliances, medical devices, and more
Ensure safe and efficient yard operations

Equipment

Yard Horse (Hostler) or Tractor Trailer

Requirements

Experience:
6 months yard hostler verifiable experience OR
1 year Class A experience verifiable within 5 years
Current DOT Medical Card
Clean driving record meeting Maersk qualifications

Job Requirements

6 months verifiable Non-CLD yard jockey/hostler truck driver experience in last 3 years
Must have experience operating a yard truck and container switching
Current DOT Medical Card
Clean MVR and accident history preferred
Good work history
