We are looking for an experienced Catering & Restaurant Manager to join our Vita Italian Restaurant Management Team in Pomona, California.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position at a full-service Hotel
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Italian Restaurant and Catering management
Thorough knowledge of Micros, Delphi, Banquet, AV, wine, and liquor service
Creative ability in setting standards of service and presentation
Ability to effectuate quality and quantity control standards
Ability to be resourceful, creative, and maintain flexibility
Ability to maintain excellent relations with staff, hotel management team, and corporate management team.

Prepare daily & submit paperwork as needed, including but not limited to staff schedules, payroll, forecasts, and posting of catering/room charge checks, employee time/edit sheets, and other operating reports as required.
Coordinate daily with Food & Beverage Outlets, Room & Catering Sales Department, Accounting, and other Hotel Operating Departments, including attending BEO, Resume, and Staff Meetings.
Timely plan-forecast & coordinate needed resources, including their timely arrival for use in Banquet Events, including and not limited to equipment needs, staffing needs, operating supplies, AV needs, and any associated rental of each as required and approved.
Enforce all food and beverage control procedures, including conducting/participating in monthly F&B Inventories, Banquet Bar Consumption Reports, Safekeeping & ensuring appropriate use of issued Employee Banks.
Working Various Schedules, including AM, PM, Weekends, Holidays, as required by business, and directed by the Restaurant General Manager.
Respond courteously and professionally to resolve all guest and staff difficulties, timely coordinating/communicating through the GM, HR, and Hotel GM, starting from the initial time of the issue.
Maintain department Attendance Records and training records.
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas.
