Floor Care Technician

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Sunday-Thursday

Monday-Thursday 5:00pm-1:30am

Sunday- 5:00am-1:30pm

Compensation: $19.00-$20.00 per hour with benefits

• Ability to operate cleaning machinery as required in the performance of job duties

Essential Job Functions

• Perform all aspects of floor care including cleaning, stripping and waxing hard floor surfaces
• Bonnet & extraction carpet cleaning
• Transport equipment, tools and supplies
• Moving furniture before and after clean
• Transport equipment, tools and supplies
• Report major damages and oversee repair(s)
• Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in the janitorial industry required with floor/carpet care experience preferred
• A background screening and drug test will be required

Physical Demands

• Must be flexible
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending and squatting is required
• Lifting of 50 lbs. or more
