Snack Bar Attendant
Temecula Creek Inn
Description
Essential Purpose: To prepare and serve food and beverages in the snack bar, beverage cart, and Caddie’s Cantina.
Essential Duties
- To understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- To correctly open and/or close the snack bar according to specified procedures.
- To provide prompt, efficient, and gracious customer service to all guests, including taking orders, preparing food and beverages as ordered, and bussing tables
- To follow all specified procedures to correctly handle all transactions.
- To maintain at all times an adequate stock of food, beverages, and supplies, to accommodate business needs.
- To meet health and safety regulations standards in the performance of all job tasks.
- To follow all policies and procedures of the food and beverage department and Temecula Creek Inn
- To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
- To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
- To practice safe work habits at all times, to avoid injury to self and others.
- To comply with company and departmental safety rules and regulations, including the proper handling of all relevant equipment.
- To attend all mandatory meetings, as directed.
- To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
Requirements
Knowledge + Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. English fluency required. Must have some experience in food industry, with emphasis on fast food experience. Hotel experience preferred.
Skills: Detail oriented. Organized and efficient. Learns quickly. Safety- minded. High quality standards for production and service. Diplomatic and calm. Strong verbal communications skills. Courteous, friendly, and professional manner. Good team player. Customer service focus. Able to work productively with little supervision. Trustworthy and reliable.
Physical Demands: Stands and walks short distances throughout shift. Frequently required to handle and move objects weighing up to 25 lbs. over short distances. Occasionally required to handle and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. over long distances, using appropriate hand trucks and carts. Bends, stoops, reaches, pushes, and pulls to perform routine job tasks. Moderate use of stairs, daily.
